Excellent service again in Beauty department Staff friendly Salon decor and ambience very good

I have been going here on and off for several years and I have always been very happy with the whole experience. This time Maiya gave me a much needed cut and finish. She is very friendly and chatty and we talked all the way through. She gave me a lovely cut and showed me how to use curling tongs to add extra curl when required.

I had a massage & glo facial with Clare and it was absolutely beautiful. I told Clare my skincare concerns and she tailored my facial to target this. She also gave me advice on a skincare regime and products to use. I'll definitely be back!!

I use Jacks for my regular hair cuts and I also have my deep tissue/sports massages here as well. Clare always asks what needs working on and she always helps my aches and pains as well as giving me advice to take away with me. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend!!! It is a gorgeous salon with stylist and well organised fairy godmothers and godfathers!!! I'm so grateful for the lovely manager Clare, for hosting me as a bride and my bridesmaid/flower girls, to prepare for my magical wedding back in November this year!! They absolutely spoiled us with celebratory drinks and they were so accommodating with my ladies and make-up stylist. Better yet, they finished all of our hairdressing an hour ahead of schedule! I will be forever grateful that they were able to slot in my mother in law last minute. They were so flexible considering I was only told this an hour before our appointment. And the fun and laughter that we shared between my family and mother in law will be forever treasured in our hearts!! I'm particularly grateful for Maiya's glamorous creativity and warm heart, as she prepared me for a couple of months leading up to the big day with hair styles and eye lash extensions trials. I've come here for a few months now and have always felt so pampered with stunning results.

Had the most amazing first experience today at Jack's and Buckley! The lovely Tianna did a fantastic job of my hair, I had a balayage dye, cut and style and I love it ! Can't wait to come back for my next haircut !

Excellent friendly service and hair care. For a guy, there is so often a tendency to cut cut cut, regardless of requests. But here the staff listen and try to accommodate even when the customer isbeing a bit unrealistic in expectation! Aaron is bang on top of his profession. Recommended.

Fantastic service which felt like real therapy after a long lockdown. Had a men's cut and a massage in one booking, both were fantastic. It's nice to have a hairdressers where I'm made to feel at ease and where I get the style I'm after. Definitely check out the pampering services if you book in.

I came here with my trans adult kid, as they wanted their first makeover so it was a really important appointment for them, I thought I'd sneak in a facial whilst I was waiting. We were both a little nervous, we don't know Nottingham too well and needed somewhere trans friendly and with saint like patience as they don't know too much about hair other than it grows very quickly and gets knotty. We couldn't fault the staff at all, really friendly, totally understanding, very patient and considerate. My kid needed a lot of guidance and, even though this took a lot longer than I'd expected, the member of staff was really patient and showed them exactly what they needed to do in order to achieve their new look. My facial was also great, I was told which products I needed to use in order to care for my skin better (and which ones not to use too much of), Claire was lovely and friendly too and I was felt really at ease. I am sorry that kid tried to haggle as they were paying, super embarassing, but this was also met with a smile and a laugh. The hairdressers was very covid safe and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend and we'd happily return. J & Em.

Great service from the team at Jacks. Pre wedding cuts, shaves and beard trim. Great experience and well looked after with a beers and snacks while we waited. Dom the barber was spot on with a great beard trim and beard camo for me with haircuts and shaves for the groomsmen. Thanks again to the team for looking after us so well.

First time visiting and I was very impressed. Took the new covid measures seriously and were in regular contact regarding my appointment. I had my haircut by Fallon, who did an excellent job and helped guide me through my (vague) haircut style request and gave advice and explanation throughout the entire cut. As well as direction on how to style my hair for the future.

One of just three best mens hairdressing places I have been to (the rest have all been average or bad). Stylist is welcoming and very knowledgeable, really good in creating conversation too. They give you tips on how to style your hair, make you feel welcome to come in at any time for advice. One of the few times I've come out of a hairdressers looking good and feeling confident! They definitely have my loyalty and well worth the price point.

I've had my haircut 4 times by Fallon now and the service and quality of cut is impeccable. Everybody who works there seems particularly friendly and polite, and easy to chat to. The haircut is 10/10 every time, which seems hard to come by in a lot of hairdressers/ barbers in Nottingham. Thank you very much!

I'm New to Jack's and personally I find it very inviting and the staff are friendly and have excellent knowledge in what they do. My haircut by a friendly girl called nicki made me feel really comfortable and at ease and I left with a faultless haircut for the first time ever! Booked in again the same week for a baliage with Tian and the final look is absolutely brilliant. Highly recommended. Perfect place to get honest opinions and knowledgeable staff. I will definitely be visiting on a regular basis.

I didn't really know what style I wanted when I went in, but Fallon really knew her stuff, was very patient, and offered tons of useful advice. Price was pretty reasonable too; always a plus.
